How to make your own wedding cake
Buying or hiring someone to create your wedding cake can be quite expensive. In the UK, for example, wedding cakes can range from £300 to £1000. If you are on a budget, it's possible to make your own cake. Here are ways you can cut the costs:

1. If you've never made a cake before, you could cut costs by asking a skilled family member or friend to do it for you.

2. Make sure you do a couple of trial runs well in advance until you are satisfied. This ensures that you have enough time to talk to a caterer or baker if it doesn't work out.
